1. Inspect Your Core Wheels
We accept cores in almost any cosmetic condition, but they must be structurally sound to be refinished.
- ☐ No Cracks: Inspect the inner and outer barrels for any hairline cracks.
- ☐ No Previous Welds: We cannot accept wheels that have been previously repaired or welded.
- ☐ Spin-Tested (Optional but Recommended): Ensure your wheels are not severely bent. Minor bends that can be straightened may be acceptable, but they can result in a small deduction from your refund.
2. Prepare the Wheels for Shipping
Proper preparation helps prevent damage during transit and makes inspection easier once your return arrives.
- ☐ Remove Center Caps & Sensors: Unless otherwise specified, keep your original center caps, lug nuts, and TPMS sensors. We do not provide replacements if these items are sent back with your cores.
- ☐ Use Our Protective Packaging: Place your original wheels into the same boxes and protective materials your new wheels arrived in, including foam rings and plastic nets when available.
3. Secure the Boxes
Careful packing helps reduce the risk of shipping-related damage.
- ☐ Tape Securely: Use heavy-duty packing tape on both the top and bottom of each box.
- ☐ Apply Prepaid Labels: Locate the prepaid UPS return labels included in your original shipment. Place one label on each box and remove or fully cover any old shipping labels to avoid confusion.
4. Ship It Back
Once the boxes are sealed and labeled, return them through UPS.
- ☐ Drop Off or Schedule: Take your boxes to any authorized UPS location, or ship them as instructed.
- ☐ Save Your Receipt: Always ask for a drop-off receipt. This is your proof of return and helps us track your refund if needed.
What Happens Next?
Once your cores arrive at our facility, our technicians inspect them for structural integrity before your refund is processed.
- ☐ Pass: If the wheels are crack-free and straight, your full core deposit refund is typically initiated within 2 to 4 business days.
- ☐ Deductions: If a wheel requires straightening or has structural damage, we will contact you with a detailed report before processing any partial refund.
